Customize your Facebook with Themes

The good-old Facebook look-n-feel is nice for a month or two before it gets really boring. Facebook has to offer you everything that is trending in social networking, but wouldn’t it be good if we could put a theme to our Facebook account?Well, as such Facebook provides a lot of customization but when it comes to look-n-feel, we can not disregard the capability of Orkut and MySpace! So does that mean we should stop using Facebook just because it can not offer you a good look-n-feel? No, obviously not, is the Answer! The good news is there’s a way to customize Facebook, but the bad news is, that only YOU will be able to see the customization while the others will still see the same old facebook! But it’s a good idea to check this out-
Yontoo Layers is a browser plugin fromPageRagewhich enables us to change the graphic layout of our user profile, i.e. customize it with themes! Yontoo Layer enables you with a variety of customization from customizing only your profile to all the pages on Facebook.

The only drawback is, only you can see these customization!
Following are the steps you can follow to install your own Yontoo Plugin-

2) Click on “Install-plugin” link.
3) Your download will start automatically and further steps on how to install plugin will be displayed.
 4) Once the plugin is installed, you can browsepagerage.comfor a variety of free layouts.
5) When you find a layout, that suits your style, choose “Select This Layout” along with either it should be applied to all pages or only to your profile.
6) Done! Works Magically. If you have an extra gene of creativity, Pagerage also allows you to create your own layout, so go-wild and try to create a master piece of your own!!There are a few more possibilities, that can customize your Facebook profile/all pages for you, but considering the fact that – Only Yontoo layers (Pagerage.com) offers you the most extensive customization capabilities.P.S. - Yontoo Layer plugin only works for Internet Explorer and Firefox.
To list a few more -

A few fake options which you should be careful of -
  • Facebook Expressions
  • Chameleon Tom
Both of these should be avoided strictly, as the former is officially banned by Facebook and the later is a kind of adware/virus.Closing Note -Well, even after the drawback, it’s pretty simple and logistic to have a utility as this, after-all everybody has a different taste. What do you think, should you join thePetition for Backgrounds on Facebook Profiles? or should you use Yontoo Layers? or leaving Facebook to its original form is the best choice? We would love to hear from you!
